    a real teacher

only a real teacher can watch you play
see just what you do right, what you do wrong
    videos can’t answer questions,
Can’t tell how you are holding the guitar,
how you are playing the guitar

only a one on one teacher, can really answer your questions
then, you can use videos to help you
to augement the teacher, if you want

i would recommend an online site, because a teacher will end up being pretty expensive in the long run. There are many free sites out there, but the problem with those is that they are very disorganized, and its hard to pace your self. I would recommend a guitar instruction course that you pay for, because the lessons are more organized, and the instruction is of a higher quality. Ill post a few link to some sights I recommend, and they are fairly priced considering the amount of work the creators put into making the lessons, and also they are cheaper that having a private teacher.
