I was trying to play eruption the other day on my Les paul custom.. You can’t play Eruption on a Les Paul !! ??
At least I cannot.. somehow trying to hit all those high notes on the fretboard … well it’s uncomfortable me me to say the least,
Besides my Gibson Les Paul is not set up with a Floyd Rose for the divebombs

Fabulous as always!! Are you sitting down with the songbooks and learning by tab or are you going by what was recorded and learning the songs by ear alone?
I often use guitar tablature as a resource to get songs down but they never seem to be note for note?/ Especially BLUES riffs and solos?

I’ve been a fan for some time. It’s time I asked you something… Could you post some other types of music you must play… Blues riffs would be nice. Buddy Guy, Eric Clapton, David Gilmore, I know you must play those riffs too? Right? Just a fan wondering..Thx if you do.. Better start if you don’t.
Of course the guitar solo in Van Halen’s Jump , Panama or Hot For Teacher have always been a favorite on mine
